Canon have today announced the new Canon 650D camera which will be known as the Rebel T4i in the USA. This is a review of the new features of the camera compared to the previous model Canon 600D.

The Canon 650D is based on the Canon 600D but has a new touch screen allowing access to functions of the camera. The key features of the Canon 650D are:
- 3" vari-angle screen with new Touch screen feature
- Improved autofocus in video mode
- Faster frame rate of 5fps
- Canon Digic5 processor for faster performance
